Sara Mills, Au.D., is a Doctor of Audiology and licensed hearing health care practitioner in the state of Louisiana. Dr. Mills is originally from New Orleans, LA and moved to Broussard, LA in 2018. Dr. Mills graduated from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center—New Orleans in 2018 and started working with Audibel Hearing Healthcare as an audiology intern in 2017. Dr. Mills has a deep personal connection to her work as an audiologist and was drawn to the profession because she was the caretaker of her great grandfather who wore hearing aids. Communication was vital to their relationship and seeing how hearing aids improved his quality of life made Sara want to improve the lives of all people with a hearing impairment.
What Dr. Mills loves most about saving hearing lives is the one-on-one care and understanding she gives to her patients. She loves her patients and considers them to be family. Dr. Mills strives to provide the highest level of care for her patients in her everyday work, just as she did for her grandfather.
Outside of saving lives one ear at a time, Dr. Mills loves hobbies such as watching the Saints play football, playing with her Goldendoodle Winston, and enjoying time with family and friends.
